Discover Your Inner Strengths Through Practical Adventures!

Welcome to a unique summer camp where young people combine practical skills with personal development and community.

Outintic House in Hästveda, bound to industrial history of this 600-years old village, is placed next to the train station but also in the middle of the woods and inbetween 4 lakes.  It will be your base for two weeks filled with both practical activities like gardening, house renovation, simple carpentry, but also food-for-brain activities like unabridged dsicussions on complex topics, collaborative events, co-creation of spaces and entertainment, games and challenges.  Our working language is English so joining the camp will for sure boost your linguistic and soft skills!

Who is this  for?
Young people aged 16–25 (younger than 16 are welcome together with a parent).

We plan for maximum 20 participants per session, one of three for the season, space for both beginners and those who already love creating and making things, shose who are shy and introvert but also sparkling opinion providers and activitsts. The universe has a plan for us all and everyone must be heard, and given space to blossom. This also means that spots are limited and we kindly recommend you to book your place in advance.

Please also note that the rooms and facilities like bathroom and kitchen are shared, unless a family books in, we keep the rooms gender-specified.

Each session has its own theme connected to Outintic’s core values: daring to question norms, recognizing deviant competences, building resilience, and creating social dialogues. Each session includes 2 orientation days for group comfort and knowledge of the environment, 1 day of sightseeing and 1 day for cleaning up and closing up the session.

  • Session 1 (June 23 – July 6): LARP (live action role play), what does it do to us living in a character? We:
    -  create our own caracters including the entourage based on presented story, for 2 days;
    -  create our own "operating spaces" and turn the garden into a fairy tale scenery, for 3 days;
    -   interact within characters and the story, for 5 days, thereafter reflect on the experiences and talk about deeper connections to our life choices.
  • Session 2 (July  8 – July 22): Mental Health, Resilience and Inner Strengths, Outdoor Artistic Creation & Creativity in Nature. We will:
    - Learn and discuss a number of real-life stories for discussion and reflection;
    - Practice creative writing and public talking, to articulate various issues we feel need to be spoken out;
    - Engage in group and individual art projects.
  • Session 3  (July 29 - August 9):  Sustainable Co-Living with Craftsmanship and Ancient Knowledge of Nature. Here we will:
    - Engage in active discussions about consumerism culture and power balance;
